This program has a focus on Scandinavian architecture and will take the students to Oslo, Stockholm, Åbo, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Reykjavik. The program includes visits to important architectural sites in each city as well as guest lectures and tourist activities.
Job description:
• Plan the logistics of the program together with CIEE Uppsala staff
• Accompany the group to all sites as the program leader
• Guide the group to specific places of interest and give lectures (e.g. do a walk on Alvar Aalto in Helsinki or the Woodland Cemetery in Stockholm)
• Provide 24/7 emergency support
Your profile:
• Degree in Architecture is a must, preferably with focus on Scandinavian architecture
• Be comfortable with guiding a group around all cities visited
• Dedication to customer service and high level of integrity
• Excellent command of English
• Willingness to meet a diverse group of people with professionalism and enthusiasm

Oslo: Bygdoy Museum, City Hall, Oslo Opera, Vigelandsparken
Stockholm: Woodland Cemetery, Eco Village Understenshöjden, City Library, City Hall, Skansen, KTH School of Architecture, Modern Museum, Kvarnholmen
Åbo: Paimio and Sanatorium
Helsinki: Alvar Aalto Walk, Museum of Finnish Architecture, Aalto's home, Museum of Contemporary Art, Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, Sölisö museum
Copenhagen: Royal Library, Opera house, Tietgen Student Residence, National Aquarium, Superkilen Park, Tivoci
Reykjavik: Blue lagoon, Glaubmbaer Museum, Quadratura Circuli, Harpa conference and concert hall
