Hyper Island specializes in digitally driven business transformation by training individuals and organizations within the areas of tech & digital, innovation & creativity, and leadership & culture. The need for training is substantial and continues to increase across all industries. As a result, Hyper Island has grown exponentially during the last 20 years. We started off in the small city of Karlskrona then expanded to Stockholm, London, Manchester, Singapore, New York, and Sao Paolo. And we intend to grow much more!
As Program Director in Karlskrona you will be in charge of leading the local team, ensuring a balance between quality, well-being, and profitability. You will have hands-on ownership of the students' learning experience through close collaboration with your team and respective industries for each program. Additionally you will be supporting the Program Managers in the actual delivery of the programs, designing and facilitating for example workshops and team development sessions. In Karlskrona we currently have two programs; Digital Media Creative, with a generalist approach on tech, design, and business, and Motion Creative, with a more specialist approach within the area of motion design and animation. As Program Director you are a thought leader, innovator, motivator, creator, and strategist. You enjoy working with people as well as with strategies, structure, process and routines. You are also confident with presenting and leading workshops for students and other crowds. You will work across hubs (locally and globally) and be part of projects with different teams and purposes. As Program Director you are accountable for students, staff, and the premises.
Higher education in business relations/management/leadership or equivalent experience Experience with educational leadership, operational management or equivalent Experience in project management Experience with educational authorities Confidence in facilitating workshops, meetings, client deliveries, conferences, and other events Grounded in the tools and the application of experience based learning A genuine interest in digital/tech Native/near native in English and Swedish written & verbal Experience with funding application processes is a plus.
