We are now looking for a Products and R&D Director to our New Business team in Lund. THE NEW BUSINESS TEAM The New Business team is a group responsible for both evaluating new business ideas from a technical and a commercial perspective. We do product development to offer our customers the best products, solutions and services on the market. The team has market oriented product and solutions resources as well as product development resources. The team's focus is on ideas outside Axis main focus on Network Video. The ambition is to leverage on Axis existing expertise and capacity which will require a flexible and open co-operation with other departments.
WHAT WILL YOU DO? You will be responsible for the New Business Products and R&D team in Lund - a strategically important team which has been growing a lot. The team consists of the following sub teams; R&D, Project management, Products and Solutions, Hosted services. The team consists today about 110 colleagues. You will also be part of the New Business management team.
In this new role, you will take the overall responsibility for all the operational matters for the team such as our appraisal talks, salary review, budget process, etc. You will also be the sponsor in our major development projects and take an active part in our roadmap-process.
The role also includes meetings with customers and technology partners. It is important to keep the team updated and initiated from both a technical and commercial perspective. Additionally, you will keep close contact with other Axis teams based in Lund, such as HR, marketing, operations, Finance and Video R&D to mention some and work together with our acquired companies such as 2N in Prague.

You have:
A Masters in management, science, administration or similar
Min. 5 years of experience in management positions
Experience of taking part in product development projects
Experience of having full profit and loss responsibility
Experience of negotiating a wide variety of contracts
Experience of commercial roles with responsibility for customer relationships
