Perido is now looking for a Production Validation and Certification Engineer for our customer. Our customer is a leading independent designer and manufacturer of highly engineered electrical and electronic components, modules and systems. The head office is placed just outside centralStockholm.
As the Validation and Certification Engineer, you are responsible for performing and coordinating validation and certification tests for commercial vehicle products. In this role, you are to generate the validation specification and validation plan during the project?s initial phase and to be a part of the product development process by ensuring that the product is designed according to the requirements. And, finally, you will be coordinating all testing according to validation specifications.
You will be working closely with different departments in the Design and Development organization and external laboratories inSweden. You will need to have a flexible way of working and an ability to prioritize and achieve results.
Specific requirements
University degree in electronics/mechatronics/telecommunication or, at least, comparable/relevant/similar training and experiences within product validation.
Practical experience in understanding technical specifications.
Be involved in the certification process of products (containing radio transmitters) for global markets
Be involved in the product lifetime calculation method development. It is advantageous to have experience with Weibull and/or Chi2 calculation methods.
