ABOUT THE ROLE
The Production Test team is a part of our supply organization, which is a collaboration between several different production and administrative groups, such as sourcing, testing, quality, and production development.
The Production Test team currently consists of 6 people. The team's overall responsibility is to ensure high quality product testing, enabling our Halmstad production site to perform with highest possible results.
Responsibilities
As a Production Test Engineer with Software Development Skills, you will be responsible for:
• Designing and developing the software used to test our products.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications.
• Creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Implementing and optimizing test processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosting hardware and software issues in the production environment.
• Collaborating with software development teams to integrate testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment.
• Analyzing test data and providing insights to improve product quality.
• Participating in the design and development of software tools to enhance testing capabilities.
ABOUT YOU
As a Production Test Engineer within HMS, it is an advantage if you have experience within production testing and have been working with LabView and TestStand.
We believe that you have great analytical skills, and a solution focused mindset. You are curious and driven by learning new things.
You are used to working in a customer-driven business and are therefore aware that current plans may need to be revised. You realize the importance of being flexible and adapting, in order to meet the needs of our customers.
You value good relations in your team and with other colleagues. You believe that collaboration is the most productive way forward, and therefore strive to be a good team player in all situations.
In this role, you will have many contacts - both in different HMS organizations as well as external, Swedish as well as international. Therefore, you need to be confident in communicating, both in Swedish and in English, and easily adapt your communication depending on the situation and who you are talking to.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills. We mainly use LabView and TestStand.
• Solid understanding of hardware and software integration.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
