Description:
Flowserve is looking for an experienced production supervisor, who would like to lead our manufacturing
site in Linköping. This person will reports directly to the Head of Production. This is an attractive career
opportunity for somebody who would like to have a real impact on company and employees performance.
Requirements:
• Strong management skills and experience in leading people.
• Experience in a production environment, preferably in a machining company
• Knowledge of production processes:, machining, welding and assembly etc.
• Expertise in H&S procedures related to a metal working company
• Project management skills.
• Fluent Swedish and English is a must.
• Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office and ERP.
• Diploma from secondary school or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities:
Take the lead for the company's production activities
• Manage and delegate tasks to human resources
• Ensure that the right staff resources are both quantitative and qualitative
• Educate and broaden staff skills so that they
various processes run with as little interference as possible
• Responsible for the right capacity is available
• Coverage of the customer order deliveries
• Ensure that machines and other equipment repaired and maintained
• Responsible for measuring room
• Ensure that periodic calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment carried and documented
according to established procedures.
• Initiating and evaluating the need for the acquisition of machinery, tools and other equipment for its own
production.
• Responsible for the production of quality outcomes
• Ensuring that the final product quality ensured by the operational
Quality control is carried out in accordance with established norms requirements and instructions
• Analyzing production strategies to meet market needs
• Assist the Department in determining preliminary delivery times upon request from Sales Department
• Participate in cross-functional projects
• Participate in the safety and conduct training in health and safety for the department's staff
• Actively drive improvement within the department
