In this position, you will have a key role in Motors & Generators Service in Storvik. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will drive production efficiency by creating and maintaining detailed production schedules, executing daily, plant-level materials requirement planning to meet delivery schedules and ensure on time delivery to all customers.
Your responsibilities
Generating detailed production schedules to maximize the use of resources and meet production specifications and schedules
Establishing the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates in line with the master plan
Monitoring performance, identifying root causes of any deviations and implementing relevant improvements
Assisting Production Planners with clear communication of any production capacity issues, and details of material availability
Keeping customers informed and maintaining strong customer relations
Your background
A degree in a relevant field
Experience in planning and logistics, working as Production Scheduler and/or Administrator
Experience of working with business systems such as SAP, Office or equivalent
A collaborative, solution-focused approach
Strong written and spoken communication skills
