THE ROLE
As Production Manager Tumba, you will be responsible for the production at the Tumba site (Roplan Products). The production team consist of assembly and machining departments. The total number of employees in production is approx. 40.
Main responsibilities:
• Represent and report on Roplan production behalf, on management meetings
• Responsible for the units KPI’s. deliver continuous improvement of KPI’s and set goals
• Ensure production conformance with company goals and policies.
• Staff responsibility for all staff in Roplan Products
• Salary negotiations
• Development talks
• Development of work force
• Performance of work force
• Budget
• Create budgets for the unit
• Follow up on budget
• Improve the units overall efficiency (productivity)
• The units quality
• Claims handling related to Roplan Products
• Improving quality
• Attend and report on management reviews
• Maintenance of equipment and tools
• Cost calculations
The position is placed in newly renovated facilities in Tumba, Stockholm and you report directly to the VP operations and supply chain.
QUALIFICATIONS
We expect you to have experience from managing a similar production. You must have knowledge and experience from lean production. Your educational background might consist of a university degree in mechanical engineering but this is not a must. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
