hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Acne Studios AB i Stockholm As Production Manager you will be responsible for seasonal placement, management and on time delivery of production, maintaining high quality and margin goals of the department for the women's- and men's leather collections.
Main responsibilities
Pre-production
• Analyzing pre booking materials and estimation results in collaboration with product managers and business controllers and take decisions to achieve good deliveries
• Proactive thinking regarding product/quantities/suppliers together with product managers
• Responsible for fitting and standardizing the collection for production, in collaboration with the product managers
Production
• Manage bulk production from order placement to on time delivery of products to the warehouse
• Responsible for purchasing bulk materials and raw material orders
• Advise vendors of seasonal buying/production calendar, unit plans and negotiate minimums
• Managing the costing process and analysis of margins per product category and decide on negotiation strategies going towards suppliers
• Managing delivery dates in collaboration with the product managers and maintain close cooperation with logistic department for product deliveries
• Working closely with quality and CSR team to ensure all quality requirements are achieved
• Ensuring all products are within legislation guidelines
• Ensuring that all suppliers and manufacturers are working within specified terms and conditions
• Monitoring seasonal growth and work flow with existing factories
General
• Invoice management
• Ongoing assessment of existing supplier base and sourcing of new suppliers
• Academic degree, from business school and/or textile education
• Experience of working as a product/production manager for at least 4 years, preferably from high-end fashion brands.
• Outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English, additional language skills is a merit
• Experienced in working with high volume luxury products
• An action oriented attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
• A team player with strong social- and communication skills
• People management
• Flexible, energetic and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
