FA1 (Final Assembly 1) operation in Tuve is now looking for a Production Leader to our Axle department. For you, who will be the new manager, it will be a big and exciting challenge to coach the team on their change journey. The Lean journey has started in a good way but there is still a lot more to be done. If you are passionate about making things better together with your 35 team mates, continue reading!

Who are you?
You are a high performer with a natural talent to lead other people. You have a lot of courage and passion to deliver good results. You have former leadership experience from a challenging environment. It is important that you have the mindset that anything is possible and the patience to make it happen. You will have good support on the change journey by a team of six other production leaders. We would very much welcome a woman to the team to increase diversity.
You are a flexible person who is not afraid of taking decisions and you are a role model for the FA1 operation. You know yourself and are comfortable in leading people in a fast changing environment. Lean is not a tool for you it is your passion!
Qualifications and critical competencies for the position
• Leadership skills; the ability to engage and make change happen through other people
• Lean experience; standardized work and continuous improvement is key at our plant
• Team player; to see the strength in cross functional work, listen, share and give feedback
• Flexibility; the industry is changing fast and you need to be able to keep pace
• Courage: a true leader needs the courage to take tough decisions and difficult conversations but also the courage to admit when you are wrong
• A "can do" mentality, challenges are fun!
• Automotive experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions, as well as all production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks. The organization is responsible for spare parts supplies to the Group 's customers as well as for designing, operating and optimizing logistics and supply chain for all brands, production facilities and distribution centers where the Volvo Group operates.
