You will be part of our Arla Foods' Production IT department and get 30 highly committed colleagues, who all strive to deliver best-in-class IT solutions to our dairies. Our solutions are built on standard components and must live up to very high 24/7 stability expectations.
Lead and develop the IT Technicians at our dairies
As Production IT Manager you deliver leadership to the IT Technicians placed locally at the dairies in Sweden. Working in a matrix-management setup, you will work very closely together with the local line managers at each site. In overview, your primary tasks will be to:
• establish small regional teams
• act as the IT professional head of the production IT Technicians at the dairies
• support the local Line Manager in recruitment and people development
• support the Arla Foods' standardisation agenda on production IT infrastructures
• ensure a strong relation between project organisations and line organisations
• align roles and responsibilities across sites, countries and business groups
For the Swedish position, you will work from one of our dairies and solve the managerial assignments at our local sites across Sweden. You will spend some time travelling to our local sites.
Leadership skills and broad IT technology foundation
You have experience as a strong Team Leader or Manager at a production site or in an overall manager role in a production company with a multi-site set-up. You have a talent for leadership, and if combined with a good understanding either of the food products or process industry, it will be a plus. A broad IT technology foundation that includes applications, servers and infrastructure combined with Manufacturing Execution Systems, database solutions and PLC/HMI automation systems knowledge will also be your key to success.
You have great communication skills in English. At the same time, it is imperative that you are open to input and ideas and use your drive, dedication and trustworthy attitude to create and maintain relations. Preferably, you have experience with long-distance leadership and are able to put power and momentum on your agenda and decisions from a distance.
