At our production unit in Timrå we assemble powered wheelchairs for primarily the European market. It is a final assembly plant with highly configurable products made to order. A key to our continues success is our ability to drive improvement initiatives within safety, quality, delivery performance and productivity. The Production engineering team is a vital part of our ability to maintain a high improvement pace and manage new products and a never-ending quest to be a better and more reliable business partner to our customers and stakeholders
To this team, we are looking for one permanent position and one temporary as Production Engineer.
We offer a stimulating work environment with complex technical challenges where your daily work will include planning and implementation of capacity and quality related projects, methodology and operations development, investments and process planning of new products. As a team member you will actively contribute to a secure, efficient and quality assured world class production.
Production Engineer with focus on production preparation
Your main focus will be within production preparation, managing phase in and phase out of products as well as managing change in existing products and assembly flow set up. We believe you are result driven with a passion to improve processes and way of working. You have several years of successful experience of production according to LEAN principles. We set high demands on your ability to lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams, very good Excel skills and documented experience from working in a manufacturing execution system from any of the major ERP systems. You communicate with ease in both Swedish and English. Preferably you have a university degree in engineering or equivalent.
Production Engineer, temporary position
You will work with improving our production flow, from material handling in warehouse to the delivery ready Power Wheelchair. It means you will work with developing tooling, assembly methods, line balancing, production quality and logistics, always in cross functional environments and not seldom cross geographies. You will be a part of industrialization projects where we introduce new products in our production as well as participate in operational development projects. We believe you have a passion to drive improvements and that you like to work with the human element of driving change. You have a university degree in engineering and/or several years of successful experience of production according to LEAN principles. We set high demands on your ability to lead changes and communicate those within the organization. A natural part of your daily work is to involve and motivate others to take part in the change process. You communicate with ease in both Swedish and English.
