Production Engineer, DeLaval International AB, Tumba.
As a Production Engineer you will be responsible for managing a variety of development projects within our Factory in Tumba. You will play an active role in product development to secure that DeLaval test platform is used as a standard. To secure and improve lean production in the Factory will be an essential part of your job.
Key responsibilities
Secure DeLaval test standards when developing new testing tools
Managing new and existing test operations within our factory in Tumba
Responsible of training test personnel in new an existing test tools
Requirement mapping from production and the product development team.
Experiences and skills
A university degree in engineering preferably Mechatronic
Experience from different manufacturing technologies
A proven track record of delivering results against stretched targets
Lean production skill is a requirement
Project Management skills are required
Design for six sigma is a merit
Fluency in English and Swedish, spoken and written is required. Other languages are appreciated
The successful candidate should also have
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to communicate and gain trust in different parts of the organization
A energetic, flexible and result oriented way of working
An ability to prioritise
A passion for driving developments and improvements
The position is placed in Tumba, Sweden and you will be reporting to the TF Production Engineering Manager. The job demands your possibility of working flexible hours and will require some travel activities.
