Develop multiphysics simulation software for tens of thousands of engineers and scientists worldwide by turning customer needs into specs and to clearly convey the utility of our products.
Our mission is to provide easy-to-use software solutions to engineering problems and to help our users get the most out of our products. Product specialists have a key role in achieving that. Do you have the skills, passion and drive to join our talented teams as Product Specialist working at the core of the COMSOL Multiphysics® development?
Your Role
Joining the team of product specialists responsible for geometry and meshing tools and technologies, your goal is to enable the efficient creation, import and meshing of CAD designs for finite-element analysis across the entire workflow. The team focuses on the functionality within these fields from the conception stage to the released software. We interact with colleagues and customers to understand the customers' needs, and to help translate these into specifications that meet our long-term vision and requirements for usability. We are the first to test features to be released, and we provide the first feedback to code developers.
The testing of newly developed functionality is also important for producing the software documentation and examples. You will write clear and concise technical documentation that helps our end-users understand and use the software at its fullest potential. Your creativity and solid understanding of the theory will shine through in these tutorials. Other teams within the company also use the materials we produce, for example when creating videos, courses, presentations, and marketing material. Our involvement in such projects is to provide technical advice and review. As a product specialist you become an expert in your field and will be able to use your knowledge and experience to provide guidance to end-users, other customer contacts, people in the trade, and colleagues alike.
Your Profile
We are looking for both fresh graduates and experienced professionals with the following background:
MSc, or equivalent degree in engineering with excellent merits
Experience with simulation or CAD software is a plus
Programing experience is a plus
Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written

You are passionate about problem-solving and desire to go above and beyond in your work. You are creative, find it easy to explain concepts and ideas, and have a strong spatial ability. You value team work and understand the importance of putting the customers center stage. You are not afraid to take initiative, and have the ability to work independently.
Working at COMSOL
The first few weeks you will focus on learning our tools, practices, and of course COMSOL Multiphysics during our onboarding program. We will gradually expand your knowledge within the many areas we are responsible for, so that you can become autonomous and efficient. Along the way, you will be supported by experienced colleagues in a collaborative working environment.
In addition to an exciting career working on a sophisticated software product, we also offer a competitive salary, individual pension plans, sponsored physical exercise and social get-togethers. We respect your leisure time and need for a work-life balance.
Our office is located in central Stockholm.
