hela Sverige We are currently looking for a Product Specialist for our Surface Chemistry business unit based in Stenungsund. The Product Specialist will be part of a Marketing team who are located in different sites all over the world. This position is a great learning platform for the right person who wants to move from a technical position towards a more commercial role.
As Product Specialist you will be the owner of the product portfolio and closely involved with the site in Stenungsund and the sales teams. This is an important key position where you will be the interface between the commercial and the technical side.
• Actively manages products as a portfolio, bringing in new products and regularly eliminating obsolete products
• Ensures effective planning, communication and progress of both new product development and New Product Launch activities
• Assures the timely launch of new products into the market and follows approval processes
• Maintains and manages the specified product ranges by customer to ensure compliance to specification set by each manufacturer.
• Ensures that relevant product information is provided to the sales team.
• Contributes to the creation of best practices in product management through the Business Area
• Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct and Health Safety Environment (HSE) standards and acting in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• MSc/BSc in Marketing, Economics or Chemistry.
• 4+ years working experience in R&D or commercial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to build up a network, to multi task and take on a lot of responsibility.
• Good skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Good knowledge in SAP/BW is preferred
