About the job
We are looking for a customer and technology focused Product Specialist who will be responsible for our Pro Grade Expert (consumer) blower and hedge trimmer assortment within the PGE Handheld portfolio team.
You will be responsible for translating customer needs and expectations into requirements that can drive new product development. You will also support our sales companies regarding the existing portfolio by training them on the products and help them promote the right solution.
You will become the link between the end-customer and Husqvarna R&D which means:
Develop the market and user requirements for NPD projects
Visit end-customers to understand their needs and requirements
Represent the portfolio team in project meeting and be the voice of the customer
The portfolio team is expected to support a wide variety of tasks within Husqvarna division which means that you need to be able to adapt and overcome complex and challenging tasks outside of the NPD process.
This position includes traveling Globally approximately 20-30 days/year.
Relevant Background
Master's degree within engineering
Good presentation skills
Good knowledge in the office package (excel/word/powerpoint)
Fluent English both orally and in writing is required for the position

It is also of importance that you have the ability to prioritize and have good analytical skills since this position includes investigations that you need to drive and draw conclusions from.

Ability to translate customer needs into requirements that can be used to drive new product development
Be able to work with complex questions and prepare recommendations
Independently drive projects outside of the NPD process
Demonstrate and explain the benefits of Husqvarna's products to the sales organization
Create customer personas that can be used to align R&D, marketing and sales requirements
Your personality in combination with relevant education, and a passion of working with Products will be of importance in this role.
