We are now looking to expand the Product Safety, Clinical & Regulatory Affairs team with one Product Safety Specialist - Cosmetics and Biocides. The Product safety specialist is responsible to support and assess better, safe and sustainable products, processes and services that meet consumer and customer needs as well as supporting Essity with creating value and reducing risk. The position is placed in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What You Will Do
Perform product safety assessments of assigned products within cosmetics, biocides, aircare and detergents as well as on perfumes and lotion additives for tissue and absorbent hygiene products and communicate the results within relevant parts of the organization
Perform risk assessments of impact of relevant production process on product safety.
Provide product safety guidance for our cross-functional projects to ensure safe, compliant and environmentally sound products
Act as an active project member in strategic and operational projects and activities
Build an updated competence and knowledge regarding product safety, toxicology and compliance and spread the knowledge within Essity.
Who You Are
Masters degree in chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology or equivalent
Experience in relevant product safety field and at least 15 credits on university level in human toxicology or equivalent
Fluent in English, both written and oral
Strong problem solving, analytical skill and methodology knowledge
