hela Sverige Global Product Safety which is part of Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA), is a function within Business Area Speciality Chemicals. We are supporting the Business units Ethylene & Sulfur Derivatives, Surface Chemistry, Industrial Chemicals and Polymer Chemistry.
We have an immediate opening for a permanent position as Product Safety and Raw Material Coordinator. The position is located in Stenungsund.
Main responsibilities:
The primary function of this position is to be responsible for collection and maintenance of raw material data required to secure compliance of Specialty Chemicals business units. The necessary data is spread out over several business units and functions. In addition you are expected to continuously strive for enhancement of data in order to facilitate the process of streamlined processes and shorter lead times.
• Managing completeness and quality of product safety data for raw materials.
• Collecting raw material data relevant for accurate function of substance.
• Responsible for bridging additional data maintenance requirements on raw materials as detailed by further blueprinting efforts linked to substance volume tracking
• Coordinating additional resources operating in other geographical areas collecting relevant data.
• Responsible for internal training of staff on raw material data maintenance process.
• Responsible for maintaining an up to data internal network within AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals and stay updated of supplier developments.
• In cooperation with manager responsible for the complete and up to data repository of supplier safety data sheets accessible via the web interface application.
• Bachelor degree in chemistry or life sciences
• At least one year relevant work experience
• Fluent in Swedish and English (both written and spoken, additional language is considered a merit)
• Knowledge and understanding of processes and systems.
• You have the ability to plan and execute own work efficiently while keeping stakeholders informed.
Merits:
• Experience working with SAP, especially EH&S module.
• Good knowledge in classifications and labeling requirements lobally.

The role requires contact with several different functions at various levels in the company, for instance purchasing, HSE and plant postions.
