To secure compliance as well as safe products, from a chemical perspective, we are now looking for a Product Requirement Specialist (PRS) for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions from products and materials to the main office for IKEA of Sweden located in Älmhult, Sweden.
As a PRS with a focus on VOC from materials and products you will provide specialist support within this area of competence. Your main task will be to develop and support organization on requirements on Volatile Organic Compounds from materials and products and work with various "indoor air-related topics". Together with colleagues and stakeholders, you will set the pre-conditions to secure safe products that comply with market requirements and that fulfil or even exceed customer expectations in all our markets.
More specifically you will:
Influence current or upcoming regulations for prioritized areas
Support the organisation with competence development activities and implementation of product requirements
Share your competence, experience, and learnings with colleagues
Build and grow an internal and external network needed to succeed in your assignment
Monitor regulatory movements, and also scientific data related to the specific area
Secure that the product requirements are documented and communicated in a clear and simple way
