At Rocktec, we develop and manufacture rock drills and components as well as offer services like software development and product design exclusive to the Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area. Our laboratory, production and research center are located in Örebro, Sweden.

As the Product Portfolio Manager, your mission will be to drive customer satisfaction by keeping commitments and seeking feedback from said customers. You see the big picture and feel accountable for the overall business results instead of focusing on single action objectives. You are able to balance between long term strategic challenges and goals with short-term priorities.

You will be responsible for product planning and market intelligence, as for example competitor benchmarks and analysis of customer needs. This, you will do through compiling and analysing market intelligence data to develop projects that will add customer value, as well as business value to Epiroc.

You will be setting project goals and building business cases for projects, as well as supporting our customer divisions by providing input to marketing material and product training. By doing this, and by being an active link between our end customers, customer centers and production company market organizations, you will ensure that our customers' needs are fully understood and met.

Additionally, you will be safeguarding our long-term competitiveness together with the Program Manager and the Research and Development Manager at the Rock Drills function, through technology portfolio planning and preparing basic development of new technology.

You should be an open minded and self-motivated team player, with good understanding of how you contribute to the overall result. Furthermore, you are:

• Willing to travel 25-50 days a year

You have a Master Degree in a relevant field and experience from the rock drilling business. Furthermore, you must have proven experience within Project Management. It is an advantage if you have experience with Lean Product Development.
A high level of English is required for this role, both verbally and in writing.
