We are now recruiting a Product Marketing Manager to our Cleaning and Disinfection portfolio! The position offers a great opportunity for a person in the beginning of its career to become part of a professional and experienced team and to develop its skills in a global, dynamic and customer-oriented organization!
The position
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is "the voice of the customer" for a number of products working in a team covering the complete Cleaning and Disinfection portfolio. In addition, the jobholder is the person responsible for defining product offerings based on input from the Healthcare segment; position the products, price products and promotion of the products along with managing the market adoption and the product life cycle. As such, the PMM "owns" the product in the market and is ultimately responsible for its overall success and profitability. This role requires strong commercial skills and good understanding of the customer needs, as well as a technical understanding so we will help you get a good knowledge of the products. The PMM will initiate, coordinate and drive product related activities cross Getinge Infection Control.
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
• Drive product growth by initiating and manage the product offering and commercialization
• Product life cycle management
• Product positioning and pricing
• Monitor and analyze product KPI's and product profitability
• Initiate product maintenance activities and update Market Requirement Specifications based on Business Cases evaluation
• Responsible for coordinating product specialists sales training and supporting material, via Sales Academy
• Product competitor analysis and sell-against
The ideal location is Växjö or Getinge, but working part time from Malmö would also be possible.
You will be reporting to the Product Line Manager - Cleaning & Disinfection, and the role implies global travels around 30%.
The ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate has approximately 2-4 of years of experience from Product Marketing Management, preferably from the Med-Tech industry.
Some of your key characteristics include:
• University Degree in Business Economics with a technical interest and curiosity
• Documented commercial background, preferably in the Med-Tech area
• Excellent written and presentational skills in English and additional language skills are merited
• Strong drive and executional skills with people as well with numbers and performing data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with customers, partners and other key stakeholders
• An eagerness to learn and develop in a rapidly changing environment
• A curios, open-minded attitude and an interest in getting to know and understand different cultures
