A vital part of Global Products is the Product Marketing unit with the main responsibility to ensure that Global Products and Global Businesses are consistently and effectively communicated and promoted, in order to support Country Business Units in their sales and marketing efforts.
The Internship
Diversity Challenge offers academics a full time paid internship at TeliaSonera with a flexible start from
January 2015. The department Global Products is responsible for providing and managing a competitive and attractive portfolio of global products and partnerships. A vital part of Global Products is the Product Marketing unit with the main responsibility to ensure that Global Products and Global Businesses are consistently and effectively communicated and promoted, in order to support Country Business Units in their sales and marketing efforts.
You will join the Product Marketing Team as specialist and the task will include:
• Assist the Product Marketing Managers in securing fundamental marketing collateral
• Create Customer insight based product positioning statements
• Create Product presentations, sheets, bulletins, info films and demos
• Identify Market trends
• Share information with different stake holders about Global Products and its projects ( through newsletters, intranet, presentations etc)
• Create Training material
• Create User guides
The internship is 4 months in length and placed at TeliaSonera head office in central Stockholm. The
Global Product Marketing Team is small (2-3 persons) but has a lot of internal contacts and
stakeholders. Therefore, being outgoing and fearless in seeking own solution is essential.
Your Profile
You are a graduate in the field of marketing with knowledge of the theory behind product positioning,
storytelling and product life cycle management. Knowledge of product marketing vs marketing is
beneficial. You hold excellent experience of Outlook and the Office packet, and preferably also
Photoshop and InDesign.
As a person you are target oriented with great communication skills and a holistic perspective as well as a person who takes full responsibility for the success of your area. Relationship skills and time management is a virtual part of your thinking and you are a self-starter with the ability to think outside the box. Your drive and energy are important success factors for the job and for the Unit.
Swedish and English is mandatory and a Baltic or any EuroAsian language is appreciated.
