As a Product manager at Research & Development you and your team will drive the commercial success of our products throughout the entire life cycle - acting as product champion within the company, with customers and with other stakeholders. Your work will require teamwork and project management skills to bring R&D, Sales & Marketing colleagues together to work with purpose and urgency. This includes initiating new concepts, defining product requirements that drive development projects, launching new products, defining and executing the product strategy, driving revenue via the sales team and obsoleting products from the market. Work related travel amounts to about 25% of the time. This position is located in Umeå.
Your qualifications
You have a broad technical knowledge and ability to put yourself in the customers varied and complex situations. You also have a commercial understanding of the customer and the business.
• MSc degree in a relevant scientific field or other relevant experience with minimum 4-6 years of experience in product management
• Advanced understanding of marketing concepts, product lifecycles, product positioning and financial analyses
• Previous experience and knowledge of agriculture and farming is a strong merit
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to create and present materials appropriate to the level of audience
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner
• Excellent organizational skills, including good interpersonal skills, flexibility and the ability to successfully work with internal and external customers and stakeholders
• Fluent in English
