We are recruiting a Product Manager for the Cut Flower Business in Plantagen.
The overall responsibilities for this position is to develop and to deliver a Range that is in line with the Plantagen strategies and to secure the delivery and performance of each product vs targets all the way to the customer.
The position is at Group level and is based in Stockholm. You will report to the Business Area Manager.
Job description
The job includes developing and delivering an action plan in line with the Plantagen Strategy and connected with a deep understanding of the market needs.
• Main tasks and areas of responsibility:
• Develop and deliver an action plan in line with the Plantagen Strategies
• Range and product plan (including pricing plan)
• Product- and range development
• Range and product input to the Sourcing department
• Range and product input to commercial team
This work includes profitability analysis, competitive analysis, consumer insight etc.
Develop the role and its tools (Follow up and navigate / take actions or propose actions to relevant functions
Qualifications
• 5 years’ experience of the Cut Flower Purchasing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience from product development/international purchasing
• Understanding and experience from assortment building
• Understanding and experience from international buying processes
• Good market know-how and experience from customers- and sales oriented procurement strategies
• Good knowledge in MS Office
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
Team player; the job requires close cooperation with other stakeholders like the commercial team, the sourcing department and offices, other business areas etc.
