Job description
The aim of this position is to support the Category Manager in all assortment related questions and handle the assortment on a daily basis. This means to answer market questions, prioritize and take decisions or provide data for the Category Manager to take decision. The role will also be responsible for driving projects related to the category upon brief from Category Manager. The role as Product Manager is a highly visible role with many contacts - you will have a close relationship with Sales and Marketing in all markets as well as with Operations and the production units. The role involves travelling within Europe approximately two to three days per month. This role will report directly to the Category Manager and have no direct reports.

Main tasks
• Lead product related projects towards operation in terms of product development/adjustments after brief from Category Manager
• Create and handle the assortment on daily basis: creation and discontinuation of articles.
• Be the production and supply chain first point of contact in assortment related questions
• Responsible to inform suppliers and product technicians about phase in of new assortment, estimated volume and packaging artworks related to this
• Responsible for requests of; artworks, labels and technical drawings etc. from internal and external suppliers
• Provide samples to markets and Trade Marketing

Kvalifikationer
Background and personal traits
• Academic degree within Business, Marketing, Economics or Engineering
• A minimum of two to three years of experience within marketing and/or production in a similar function or as project manager
• Experience from working at a producing company (meritorious)
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Communication skills in German (meritorious)
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office

The Product Manager works closely with many different departments which will require good communication and networking skills as well as a well developed business mind and organizational understanding. Your main strengths are analytical skills, pro-activity, structure, ability to prioritize and willingness to succeed. You are a team player with the ability to also work independently. You will also need interest and willingness to understand Duni production process.
