IFS Research & Development (R&D) has around 800 employees and is located in several countries: Sweden, Sri Lanka, UK, Poland, US, Brazil, Netherlands and Norway.
R&D is organized in different product groups - Technology; Service, Projects & Asset; Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Financials & Human Resources. Each product group is led by a Product Director and the product group consists of different product areas. The Product Manager is responsible for a product area and reports to the Product Director.
Your future challenge
We are now looking for a Product Manager of R&D Financials who is eager to lead the product into the bright future. As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the operational organisation for the product area IFS Financials.
Key responsibilities:
Product Ownership
• Head of Development and Support for the IFS Financials product area.
• Developing and communicating the strategy & direction for the Financials product in IFS Applications.
• Executing on the roadmap for the product.
• Part of the Management Team for the IFS Financials & HR Product Group
Staff liability
• Lead the Product Area Management Team (Project Managers, Support Manager, Product Solution Manager and Group managers/Managers Software Development). Line management responsibility for 3 direct reports in Sweden.
• Define, communicate and follow up on targets and expectations.
• Develop the product area and the individuals organized within it (The total group consists of about 80 persons located in Sweden and Sri Lanka)
Networking
• Establish tight connections with key customers, partners, as well as stakeholders within IFS Regions and IFS R&D.
• Represent the product area internally and externally
You
You have extensive experience of working with large business applications, including working close to customers. Preferably from leading an organization working with standard software product development. Experience from the Financials area is highly valuable.
