For our Product Management department we are now looking for a Product Management Associate responsible for assisting the department in the management of East Capital's products.
You will be responsible for support to the Product manager and Head of product management by:
• Developing understanding for the complete life cycle of the products within the East Capital group.
• Actively promoting awareness and appreciation of the products within the company.
• Supervising and monitoring developments of the products and reporting constructively.
• Contributing to optimizing profitability, promoting innovation and pro-actively raising ideas for product development and enhancement by always taking a positive approach.
• Providing general administrative support, e.g. filing documents with FSAs, support in relation to product launch and proper filing of documents in document management system (Meridio).
• Where applicable acting as Corporate Secretary for legal entities within the products responsible for co-ordination of board and shareholders' meetings, e.g. draft agendas, minute keeper and assist in preparation and implementation of decisions on such meetings.
• Being responsible for contacts with service providers such as custodians and administrators, in administrative matters related to the products.
• Help to coordinate the delivery of services by operations within East Capital and third party suppliers such as administrators and custodians.
• Regular monitoring of internal and external product information in order to secure that the information is accurate.
• Responsible for distribution of information about East Capital and the Products to databases used for reports accessed by third parties. e.g. Morningstar.
• Assisting with coordination of statutory reporting and other reporting such as distribution of product information materials to clients.
To be successful in this role we believe that you have a Bachelor's degree in business or law and at least 3 years of experience from working in a financial institution. You have a broad knowledge of regulated business in finance and sound understanding of how fund/asset management operations work. You are able to manage external and internal resources within a project environment.
Previous experience in compliance, legal or operational departments is looked on favorably.
You have full command of both spoken and written English. Language skills in Swedish are preferred. Interest in the Eastern European economies will be helpful, but not required.
As a person you are a diligent team player, service minded and thorough with an 'eye for details'. You enjoy structure and administration and you never miss a deadline.
