Develop our next generation platform
Zone Controller plays a major part in enabling Volvo Cars next generation hardware/software platform.
We are now looking for an owner of the complete Zone Controller scope. As Program Manager for ZoneController you will own the complete backlog and the execution of it. Supporting the teams with continuous prioritization and technical support to enable delivering Zone Controller in time for J1. You will also be part of the prioritization of infrastructure development plans for build- CI/CD systems and integration, development and execution of apps running on the Zone Controller. You are responsible to report the progress of Zone Controller to high level stakeholders in the organisation.
Who you are
To be successful in this role we believe that you:

• Take a structured approach to your work and have analytical skills that you have successfully applied to complex engineering tasks in the past.
• Collaborate well with your peers and are open to share your work and expertise, and communicate well in English.
• Have a B.Sc. or equivalent within Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics or similar area of education.
• Have deep knowledge from automotive software design and development, specifically within Autosar Basic SW (and from related tools). You know what is needed to create a continuous integration and automation flow, embedded software testing, automotive communication and ISO 26262.
What you'll do
You will own the complete product Zone Controller development cross car-lines i.e. all existing and planned vehicles, ensuring delivery in time.
You are part of the planning of next generations of ZoneControllers. You are part of developing SW structure and configuration, base SW, diagnostics and other relevant SW levels to concerned components and systems.
You will also contribute to building an automated workflow with continuous integration and testing of new software.
