The job responsibility is global, and encompasses, from at product point of view, the whole Electrolux Laundry Systems product line of the Professional Front Loaded Washers and Connectivity.
Product management is an organizational function with in Electrolux Laundry Systems dealing with the planning, forecasting and marketing of products at all stages of the product lifecycle. The role consists of product development and product marketing, with the objective of maximizing sales revenues, market share and profit margins. You are responsible for analyzing market conditions and defining features or functions of a product. Product managers translate business objectives set for at product into engineering requirement. Conversely you work to explain the capabilities and limitations of the finished product back to Marketing and Sales.
To be successful you need Strong customer-orientation and analytical skills to understand and anticipate the market trends and the threats posed by competition. Deep understanding of the Marketing process and strategic capabilities in defining and articulation a complete Business Plan. Drive for results during the execution of the Business Plan. Will to integrate different functions and departments, such as R&D, Logistics, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales and Service into a unique great team to gain the customer's trust. Knowledge in Connectivity: connected appliances - payment solutions, mobile interaction, cloud services, etc.
You probably have a Master or Bachelor degree in engineering, marketing, business management or similar education. Experience in a similar position is a plus. Fluent English is mandatory and working knowledge in Swedish an advantage. We believe you have a good technical understanding as well as good understanding and genuine interest in digital transformation and Internet of Things. Since the job is international, you need to be able to travel.
