hela Sverige The Product Management Officer will act as a supporter for Rail Control Solutions Engineering to ensure better efficiency through standardization and it will provide governance frameworks, methodology for improvement and process initiatives.
It will also act as a focal point for RCS Engineering towards CTO and other divisions within the EMO area. The Product Management Officer will transform the capability of the Engineering function and maximize the utilization and capability of the engineering resources.
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Drive & align engineering processes with the target of standardizing RCS Engineering process where if bring efficiency
• Implement Quality Assurance Process and governance by collaborating with the quality function
• Drive the development of linking the processes with QA and project transparency by linking the processes with work packages (planning) and deliverables (Design QA)
• Be responsible for the Product Management process in EAPD, for standardization of product roadmap, held desks, Gate Review process, trainings and internal & external audits in engineering
• Develop framework for management, governance, reporting and tracking of improvement initiatives
• Drive & align engineering strategic actions through implementation of KPIs & visualization through a balance score cards
• Support, as requested, with the tracking and governance of any improvement initiatives initiated within Engineering
• Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience in software, hardware or system development
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience with Process and improvement management and leadership
• Experience in Project Management and financial controlling
• Knowledge of Signaling Train and Control Systems, Bombardier Transportation RCS products, processes preferred
• Familiar with current safety related standards (EN50126, EN50128, and EN50129), tools, methods and techniques for the assurance of safety critical and related software and systems
• Experience in cultural awareness and working with multinational team
• Strong communication skills in English are mandatory
• Availability to travel to meet customers and participate in on site activities in projects
