WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Product Introduction Manager you will be instrumental in the promotion of our products, solutions and services working in close cooperation with product managers, sales managers and marketing. Your focus will be on supporting our Global Sales organization and providing them with insightful and relevant material. You will work in a team of product introduction managers and you will need to have a good understanding of our technology as well as a deep understanding of sales of complex products and systems.
You are expected to develop, create and deliver compelling and comprehensive sales support material, well adapted to the intended target groups. You will deliver the material through a multitude of channels, including online trainings, webinars and technical and sales training sessions in front of live audiences.
The role involves travelling, up to 20 days a year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a self-driven and structured individual with experience in strategic sales and product management activities, such as product promotion and launch management, market analysis, developing sales support material and supporting the sales channels. We believe you have a service minded attitude and that you are practical when it comes to technical matters. You will need to have some hands-on technical experience to truly understand our products and the challenges our customers and sales teams are facing. Experience from working with IP video technology and/or Axis video products would be a great advantage, since you need to have a good understanding of our technology to be able to efficiently translate it into values for our customers.
You are a team player and have great social skills and an ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with predominantly international contacts. You are always open to customers and colleagues, contributing to a good team spirit and a productive environment. Furthermore, we believe you have:
At least 5 years work experience
A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written
Experience from product communication, e.g. as product marketing manager or product manager
A deep understanding of sales
A proven ability to explain products, solutions and technology in terms of customer value
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
Fluency in other language is a plus
THE PRODUCT INTRODUCTION MANAGEMENT TEAM
The team is part of the Product Management Department and provides product related information to the Axis Global Sales organization, which includes sales account managers, sales engineers and technical service engineers located in our regional offices around the world. The information ranges from sales pitch to deep technical details including competitor comparisons and other relevant information for the sales organization.
