Job Description
This is a fun and exciting opportunity to join a leading automotive company, working with product information! We work in cross-functional teams including product information specialists, illustrators and spare part engineers and others. As a team, we are committed and take pride in delivering pedagogical, supportive and easy accessible technical information to customers, dealers, workshops and technicians.
As Product Information Engineer you plan, write and maintain technical information, including design, function, service and spare parts. Your job is to explain complex technical matters to our customers through text and illustrations.
You are a good problem solver and like to bring your tasks to closure. You have great communication skills - fluent in English and enjoy cooperation with others and like helping others. You will work in a truly global environment, interacting with other teams in Europe, America and Asia.
Experience in the following is a merit:
• Technical communication, product information
• Illustrations
• Structured writing (XML)
• Automotive industry
• CAD, CATIA, Creo, 3DVia and other 3D tools
• Authoring tools SID and/or Grips
• Adobe authoring tools
• Windchill Arbortext
• Vehicle mechanics
• Engine knowledge
