TPC Components AB Hallstahammar is one of the leading precision foundries.
TPC supply components to the automotive, engineering and gas turbine industries. A key strength of the TPC is the ability to process customer products already in development. TPC Components technical expertise extends deep into the chemistry and metallurgy, which means we can offer a costeffective industrialization of production, even for complex components.
We are currently seeking a Product Engineer.
The Position
As a Product Engineer you are part of a team of 7 people today who work with both new and existing products. The work involves working closely with TPC marketing staff and customers as well as production.
Your main duties consist of:
Preparing technical specifications for quotation of new products
Manufacturing process design and industrialization of new products
Process development and process control in production
Driving continuous improvements in production
Your profile
We are looking for people with a master's degree in materials or mechanical engineering. In addition to your previous knowledge and experience, we will place great emphasis on your ability to work independently and organize tasks in a structured manner. You take intiative, you are perceptive, unpretentious and a good team player. We assume that you have experience of working with casting and materials processing. Experience with CAD models and simulation as well as 6 sigma methods is of interest. Fluency in English is required. If you the right individual, we can promise a very challenging and interesting career.
The position is full time, based in Hallstahammar.
