We are an important part of Quality & Customer satisfaction (QCS) and every day we support Volvo Bus Corporation (VBC) business regions and aftermarket organizations globally with our technical knowledge. We deliver professional support and solutions to technical product related problems of different complexity. We also make investigations and report back quality problems to our design departments.
We are now looking for a Product Deviation Engineer within Electrical side.
The challenge:
As Product Deviation Engineer at Global Technical Service You will have a central role in making our customers successful.
Product Deviation Engineer is a new role within Technical Service. Your main responsibility will be to receive and investigate potential quality issues identified in the markets within the Electrical side as well as within Electromobility. You are in charge of the beginning of our Quality process within your field, ensuring the field issue is properly described, understood and addressed correctly.
Your work is Global, communicating with all markets and frequent interactions within Q&CS as well as Product Development. You will work in close cooperation with our Product Specialists within each area.
Location is Gothenburg it does require travel, sometimes with short notice.

Are you qualified?
Beside your great competence we want you to be a creative and ambitious engineer with high energy and you want to take an exciting step joining our team who sets quality and customer satisfaction first.
You must have the interest and talent to support our customers, carry out investigations on our products and report findings in a professional way. Since we often work in cross-functional teams social skills and a professional manner in both writing and verbal is very important.
A couple of years' experience within Electrical or Electromobility is preferred.
Language: Fluent English, both in writing and verbal is required. Further language skills are considered as an additional qualification.
Education: We believe you have a B.Sc. in relevant area or similar
Furthermore:
Driving license for car is necessary and for bus is considered as an extra advantage.
