Product Development Manager Crispbread for R&D and Innovation
This position is full time, based in the Filipstad Crispbread Plant.
You will work closely together with Wasa Brand Development and Innovation, as well as the production plants in Filipstad and in Germany. Your work also includes close cooperation with central RDQ functions in Parma, Italy.
As a Product Development Manager you will manage, along with the Regions, the development process of new products, from their conception through to the industrialization stage, and contribute to the development of Barilla products portfolio. You will scout new materials/suppliers and define which ingredients are more suitable for the products, from a quality, safety and economic stand point. You will work on a balanced range of innovation plans, ensuring overall alignment among new products development and Group quality standards and promote the company's organic growth through innovation in a long-term perspective.
About you
We are looking for a structured, responsible and innovative person with attention to details. You are curious about the industry and keeping yourself updated on business trends and new products in the market. You have an academic degree in Science (food related is preferred) and 3 to 5 years of previous experience of food innovation and/or product development. You are fluent in English and Swedish is considered a plus. Naturally, we trust that you have strong computer skills and are used to working with administration and documentation. Further, you enjoy working independently and proactively and have a strong drive to constantly improve processes. Above all this it is important to us that you have a strong passion for food, especially crispbread, and share our values.
