Micromuscle was founded in 2000 and currently employs eight people.
The owners are Industrifonden, CIMON Medical, DSM Venturing and Iteksa Venture.

Your work
As application engineer you will be part of our research and development team. You will have a key role in developing Micromuscle's medical applications. Together with the development team you will present ideas and designs for future products and transfer these to working prototypes.
Typical tasks include design, mechanical calculation, manufacturing and evaluation of prototypes. The tasks require practical skills as well as solid mechanical knowledge.
Elements of fine mechanics, chemical processes and simple electronics design are also part of the position. The work is project based and the company has extensive international connections.
Your background
• You have a master's degree or a bachelors' degree with good knowledge in mechanics and construction, e.g. mechanical engineering.
• You have at least a few years experience from industry. Experience from the life science field is meriting.
• You have hands on experience from prototype/product development and knowledge of existing materials (preferably polymers) and fabrication methods.
• As a person you are full of ideas and have a large interest in technology. We appreciate if you are flexible, efficient, creative, and are goal-oriented.
• It is qualifying if you have a range of talents from different disciplines such as engineering and construction. It is also a plus if you have a basic knowledge in chemistry.
