The work environment at Acne Studios is fast-paced and energetic; no day is ever the same. You will be based at Acne Studios Head Office in Stockholm, but you will also have commitments that require travelling on a regular base to your suppliers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Development and production of high-end quality womens wear collections in close cooperation with our design- and pattern team
• Responsible for comments on prototypes, SMS, pre-production- and production samples
• Assure the highest quality of your product categories
• Proactive thinking in fittings, which is related to the further production process
• Sample handling with an emphasis on quality and fit
• Continuous contact with suppliers and interact as soon as possible when a problem occurs related to the product
• Requesting prices from supplier(s) and making price negotiation proposals to the product manager
• Production follow up according to Acne Studios' specifications and demands on quality and delivery
• Responsible for a continuous updated PDM system
• Proactive work to continually develop the logistics and delivery system
• Quality controlling
• Responsible for respecting on time deliveries
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Academic degree, from Business School and/or Textile Education
• Experience of working as a product assistant or product developer for leather garments for at least 2 to 3 years, preferably from high-end brands.
• Experience of working close to international factories
• A vast experience and knowledge of leathers and materials
• Outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English, additional language skills is a merit
• The ability to take initiative and to prioritize work tasks
• An action oriented attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
