Flexible, preferably at one of Nobia's two development centers in Tidaholm or Darlington or in Stockholm
Required mobility/travel days:
Extensive mobility required as a key part of the role. The function requires travelling nationally and internationally c. 60-80 days per annum.
Main Purpose:
As Product Design & Development Manager You will guide, coach and lead a team of approx. 12-16 product developers with various expertise within kitchen development. Included in product design development is new product development, value engineering, assist in cost savings, next generation development and various design realization. The team will build products and kitchen concepts from:
• Existing ideas coming from other teams within Nobia as part of Nobia?s Go-to-Market process
• Own ideas based on industry experience, supplier collaborations and close contact and collaboration with other teams in Nobia
• Input from the range team on how to optimize Nobia?s ranges based on e.g. gap analysis
• Input from the range team on product life cycle analysis so development can be done before volume products peak in sales.

Head of Product Management
The job - main areas of responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Nobia?s two development centers in Darlington and Tidaholm
• Be part of building and executing a product management strategy on how to outrace competitors
• Build and run one of the best product development teams in the kitchen industry
• Further enhance our Go-to-Market process and how Nobia works with its development process
• Secure Your team keep abreast of the latest technology developments within the industry to ensure the company sees available opportunities for technical improvements in products.
• Provide our brands with an efficient and the right products according to product management strategies and Nobia strategies
Your experience:
• 3+ years of product development experience
• 3+ years of leading and managing product development team/s
• Experience of working in development across cultures and countries within Europe
Your competence:
• High drive and a self-starter
• Large knowledge (preferably documented) in product development processes
• Knowledge in risk assessment and risk management
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams.
• Good computer skills in Office, MS Project
Your formal background:
Minimum a bachelor degree in a related topic to product development schools or equivalent 5 ? 6 years experience from a similar position.
Required language skills:
Fluent English Language Skills and additional languages is a merit.
