It is about leading the technical development in the product development process for sofas and sofa beds end-to-end, to secure creative, production adapted solutions to exceed customer expectation in quality. It consists of actively searching for information and knowledge contributing to technical development and share this amongst the product development team members and technical specialist.
The PDE is highly involved in defining, executing, delivering, and maintaining the product development project as well as securing the right competence and resources from a technical perspective. Delivery, leadership, communication and working with people are a large focus in this role.
