About the job
The Compliance function supports the whole business around the separator, from R&D to Sales. The Product Compliance Specialist role includes:
* Identify and present regulatory obligations. Evaluate impact and recommended actions for information and decision-making purposes.
* Support with technical compliance expertise and guidance.
* Perform analysis and review of product development project deliverables within the compliance area.
* Lead / participate in compliance projects / activities.
* Deliver product compliance training
* Participate in external industry groups and technical committees representing Alfa Laval BU HSS.

* A high level of initiative and drive, are self-managed and work in a proactive way.
* The ability to analyze details as well as see the big picture.
* A strong communicator since the ability to discuss your working area is essential and you need to be fluent in English (oral & written).
In order to succeed, you should be able to work both independently and be a team player
What you know
* Engineering background (B.Sc. or M.Sc degree with relevant specialization)
* Knowledge related to product regulations and 3rd party approvals in compliance areas of machinery safety
* Experience from international and/or national standardization and working with product standards as part of product development is preferable
* Experience with risk assessment
* Project management skills
