Then you should join us as a Product Build Project Leader.
Product Builds is a global organization preparing and delivering the prototype builds to Group Trucks Technology (New builds, Rebuilds and Rigs/Test bench/Component rigs performed in GOT facilities). We lead the cross functional work from an order received until the project build is delivered to the customer according to agreement, supported by a quick and effective logistic supply chain.
Position Summary
We are looking for our future colleague who wants to be part of developing the premium heavy duty trucks of tomorrow. As a Product Build Project Leader you plan and lead the cross-functional work within projects, to ensure that the physical builds needed for the verification and validation in the Product Development Projects are delivered in time and with the right quality. The prototype builds are assembled either in the production plant or in internal workshops. You are an active partner in the Engineering Project Management Team and you report to the Project Manager Engineering and to your line organization. You will work closely with project managers, technology leaders, prototype purchasing teams, assembly functions as well as the development and verification teams. You lead and coordinate all meetings concerning the prototype builds such as specification, variants and bill of materials questions, initiate ordering of trucks, production-, prototype parts and software for our physical builds together with representatives from different functions within Product Development, Purchasing and Manufacturing.

What we are looking for?
To be able to take on this challenge successfully, we believe that you possess the following skills and competencies:
• Master of Science in relevant field (or equivalent)
• You have been working as a Project leader or are an experienced Project Coordinator
• Experience from Product Development within the automotive industry
• Experience in truck business and/or software for automotive industry is a merit.
• As a test object build involves a lot of procurement and logistics activities, it is beneficial to have a good understanding of those fields
• You are fully comfortable with the Microsoft office tools.
• Being the spider in the web, and part of a global organization it is important to have good communication skills and to be fluent in English, both spoken and written
• We believe that you have a customer oriented mindset delivering complete high quality solutions that creates customer value
• As we are solving small and big problems, often starting with limited information, we believe you are pragmatic, driven and always open to learn new things
