Sandvik Group IT is now looking for a driven manager to lead our Product Area Core IT Services team to new heights. Your mission
In this position, your main responsibility is to create and implement an IT plan that aligns with the overall strategy of the product area - including overseeing the infrastructure and database, as well as studying and implementing new processes and techniques related to IT planning, risk analysis and Lifecycle Management. Additionally, you lead the streamlining and automation of IT services, such as outsourcing, infrastructure, vendor management, and application operations. You set the mission, vision, and strategy for your team, and communicate and maintain a clear vision, objectives, and roadmap for the overall Product Area. The product area includes Data Center Services, Application & Platform, and Output Management.
You manage a team of professionals and provide guidance, support, and mentorship to drive their professional growth and development. To ensure productive and efficient working relationships you have a collaboration with external vendors and partners.
The location for this position is either at Gasverket in Stockholm or Sandbacka Park in Sandviken with presence on site at least three days a week.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a university degree in a relevant field and experience in a leading position similar to this one. You have good knowledge of application operations and/or data center operations, , we value your interest in leading managers. As we're a global organization, excellent English skills, both written and verbal, is required. Knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
To be a good fit for this position, you're analytical with strategic thinking and business-oriented mindset. Stakeholder management with focus to build business area relationships is very important. You enjoy an open and agile work environment, and you view challenges as a good way of growing and developing. Add to that excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to influence and motivate others, and you have a great chance of succeeding even more in this role.
