We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Domain Expert to join our dynamic team in Branded Webstroes product area. As a Product Area Expert within you will play a crucial role in translating the strategic direction of the domain into actionable requirements, driving the end-to-end product lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products. You will be responsible for requirement gathering, prioritization, analysis, testing, and driving adoption of transformative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
Translate the strategic roadmap of the domain into well-defined epics that meet the Definition of Ready (DOR).
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document detailed requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ensure a clear and comprehensive understanding of domain needs, considering both technical and business aspects.
End-to-End Ownership:
Take full ownership of the entire value chain, from ideation to product release and lifecycle management.
Drive the product development process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery of high-quality products.
Monitor and manage any changes or updates to the product throughout its lifecycle.
Prioritization of Requirements:
Cultivate and manage strong cross-functional relationships, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Lead decision-making processes related to requirement prioritization, considering input from various stakeholders.
Ensure that priorities are aligned with business objectives and market demands.
Analysis of the Requirements:
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to provide clear and comprehensive insights into requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
Address any queries or clarifications from the engineering team regarding requirements.
Test & Train:
Take accountability for the System Integration Testing (SIT) execution of the product backlog, ensuring its compliance with acceptance criteria.
Support business stakeholders during the testing and training phases, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Adoption:
Play a key role in driving the successful execution of transformation initiatives by supporting business stakeholders.
Provide guidance and assistance to ensure smooth adoption of new products or processes.
Address any challenges that arise during the execution of transformation initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Product Area Expert or in a similar product management role.
Strong expertise in requirement gathering, analysis, and prioritization within a product development context.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in scrum ceremonies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of testing processes and willingness to engage in test & train phases.
Ability to drive and facilitate change adoption among business stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership, lead initiatives, and deliver results.
