hela Sverige This is an exciting opportunity in Marsta , Sweden for a Product Application Technical Specialist.
Cummins Europe is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as providing technical expertise to our Off Highway customers across Sweden.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
Provide technical direction for small and large projects.
Be the first point of contact for OEM's from engine order through to project completion
Assist customers with design and installation reviews
Provide Application Engineering training to internal & external customers
Support customers by selecting the engine best suited to each customers need
Plan regular travel to internal & external customers (domestic and international travel).
Ensure Cummins & customer HSE standards are met and enforced at all Times on both Cummins and customer sites.
Take precautions to protect own safety and safety of others. Report all hazards and accidents. Ensure compliance with all company procedures in respect of Health and safety.
Build an excellent relationship with internal and external customers.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience Required:
Excellent customer facing skills provide technical guidance
Relevant experience in a technical role (favoured experience in field of internal combustion engines)
Ability to prioritise workload under pressure
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Able to work to strict deadlines and timescales
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Degree qualified in Mechanical/ Electrical engineer
Knowledge of modern diesel engine technology
25% travel minimum across Sweden and Europe
European driving license
Able to communicate in both Swedish and English
Application Engineer with experience
