http://www.basf.com)We are looking for a new colleague to the role of Procurement Specialist to join our team in Rosersberg office.
What you can expect
You will have an opportunity to become part of the European procurement team forBASF Construction Chemicals for the European market with the responsibility for the local and regional sourcing. You will be responsible forpreparing and implementing local and regional procurement strategies in order to ensure the availability of high-performance procurement sources, including RFQ process in cooperation with the requisitioning party. You will be responsible for supplier management, including selection, negotiation and awarding of contracts and agreements. You will also be responsible for monitoring the market on an ongoing basis with regard to price, overall economy and structural changes.
What we expect
We expect you to hold a bachelor degree in business and economics as a minimum, supported by 3-5 years' experience from a similar role. You have extensive knowledge and skills related to procurement, including participation in projects. In this role you need to be structured, have great attention to detail and demonstrate ability to see the big picture. You have strong communication and negotiations skills. You are fluent in a Scandinavian language and English, both spoken and written.You are a proficient user of MS Office applications and of SAP, especially in SAP MM module. In this roleyou will need to travel occasionally, mainly within Nordic region and Europe.
