Our department for Production Process & Systems is responsible for business process definitions, user support and input to IT development within Coromant production. We add value by rationalizing work processes - ensuring efficiency while maintaining high quality throughout production. By working in closer connection and collaboration with the production line, we can rationalize production throughout the organization.
In light of this, we are now looking for a Process Development Expert for a newly created role based in Sandviken or Gimo. We offer the chance to join a truly global organization, working with problem solving and improvements in close cooperation with the production organization. Frequent travel to our production units around the world is a natural part of your work.
Key performance areas
In this position, you are responsible for supporting Coromant Production units in managing work processes, methods and systems related to IT, regarding their functionality and level of efficiency within the production line. Through this you enable them to achieve their targets within the areas of delivery precision and lead times to meet the requirements of order acknowledgements and delivery time updates. Working independently, but in collaboration with stakeholders in production and global functions, you listen to their needs and support them with master data management, production preparation and planning, taking an active role in solving complex business process problems and analyzing root causes for issues.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with at least three years' experience from production preparation, production planning or change management within production, in leading work with rationalization or quality improvements. Previous experience from working in an international setting, in a truly global role, is advantageous, as is previous involvement in project management. To succeed in this position, it is also advantageous to hold a driver's license, for travelling to nearby production sites. Additionally, as we operate in an international setting, you need to have excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
