JOB DESCRIPTION
As Process Engineer at Ascatron you will be part of a devoted team developing next generation power semiconductors:
• Development of fabrication processes for SiC semiconductor devices. Process design, experimental planning, and process parameter optimization.
• Processing of power device wafers for prototyping and pilot production. Include complete fabrication process from lithography, CVD, dry & wet etching, metallization.
• Characterization of material and electrical properties of process steps. Microscope, SEM, Elipsometer, Surface profilometer, Curve tracer, Probe station.
• Documentation and analysis of process results. Input to device character-ization and feedback to device design. Runsheet, statistics, quality and development reports.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a good understanding of semiconductor device fabrication. You are a methodic, ambitious team player who likes to do practical work. You have a strong sense on quality of details, and a good ability to analyze complex data.
We are looking for you who have:
• Master degree in material science, nano technology, in-organic chemistry or engineering physics.
• Knowledge in semiconductor process technology, solid state physics and micro metrology.
• Experience of >3 years work in semiconductor clean-room fab.

To make the most efficient and reliable SiC power devices is Ascatron using a unique material technology enabling us to reduce the resistance in the device. Ascatron started in 2011 as a spin-off from the research institute Acreo, and has 10 employees in Sweden.
