To strengthen and boost our team, we are now looking for Process Engineers to work with product and process improvements, resolving production process issues and achieving goals of new products as well as new process development.
The Process team at Finisar Sweden consists today of 12 people divided into two subgroups. The first group includes five Process Integrators, working with the industrialization of new products, as well as managing the products that are released for production. The other group consists of 7 Process Engineers, each of these have an area of responsibility in a specific field. We are currently looking for:
2 Process Engineers for the RIE/Thinfilm area
1 Process Engineer for the Lithography area
1 Process Engineer for the Measure/Inspection area
1 Process Engineer for the EBL/Mask (photomask) CAD area
Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for area/ appointed equipment and related processes
• Process performance fulfilling product requirements
• Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of the processes
• Shop floor assistance and directions to sustain manufacturing
• Continuous improvement, optimize workflows/routines to secure volume production
• Process monitoring and control.
• OCAP
• Secure uptime, productivity, efficiency, Capacity
• Oversee and approve equipment preventive maintenance and repair
• Define and make available any materials and tools required
• Manage New Equipment acquisition, installation and commissioning
• Process step qualifications
• Technician training and certification
• Writing and maintaining process documentation
• Document and communicate activities as appropriate
• Process safety
• Technical direction and supporting development of processes for new products
To be successful in this position you have at least three years of experience within the area, product engineering management, preferably semiconductor manufacturing and volume production. With an organized approach to project management and corrective actions you are result-oriented as well as driven by dedication to close action items on time.
You are a positive, results-oriented and driven person with an organized approach to project management and corrective actions. You enjoy working hands-on and have a "roll up the sleeves"- attitude. Clear and efficient communication and documentation is required.
You hold an education in Masters of Science or higher (e.g. physics, material science, chemistry or electronics or equivalent).
