Problem Manager
Global Operations is responsible for the major part of the service production in Processing & Network. Our services include among others Service Desk, server, capacity and network management, e-mail, application operations and workstation management. We have over 1400 specialists located in different countries.
The Problem Manager owns all aspects of problem management i.e. being responsible for the analysis of problems, controlling the resolution of known-errors and the content of the known-error database.
The main responsibilities for a Problem Manager are:
• Monitor the performance of problem and error control
• Work closely with Incident managers to identify repeating incidents in order to raise problem tickets
• Supervise and allocate resources in co-operation with line mgr and resource mgr
• Monitor the status and progress of open problem tickets
• Inform relevant parties, particularly ICM, on workarounds and resolutions
• Control and assist the analysing and identification of root causes
• Ensure that known-error database is up to date
• Keep and updated inventory of all raised problems
• Raise Requests for Change (RfC) to Change

• English skills (in writing and orally)
