Problem Analyst Steering SW

Mechatronics & Tuning Steering & Brakes group, part of Vehicle Control & Chassis is responsible for the development of Steering electronics, functions and software. Steering system is an area which undergoes fast changes to meet new customer requirements such as Autonomous driving and future active functions.

We have the mission to offer a world class Steering feel & functionality to support both today's technology and next generation self-driving cars. What we do have direct influence on how the customer experience the vehicle. We design our system to support the toughest regulations for system safety in order to provide a safe experience for our customers. Our system is an enabler for customer features such as base steering feel and Self-parking and driving cars. For coming platforms we are moving towards in-house SW and function development.

Main responsibilities


We are now recruiting for a Problem Analysis for fault tracing on the steering systems. You will be part of a team of engineers, collaborating with a broad network of engineers including SW engineers, system owners and testers to ensure a stable steering software and hardware fulfilling the needs of internal and external customers:


* Test and Fault tracing on test bench, rig and vehicle

* Work cross-functional supporting the engineering areas

* Support the team with necessary activities related to fault tracing

* Support the organisation with competence in test and verification activities

* Analyze log data for fault tracings


Required qualifications

* Technical education on University or High school level (electro/mechatronics/Software/Computer science or similar)

* Fluent in English (spoken and written)

* Driving license (B)

* Experience from CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape or similar

* Experience from fault tracing or testing

* Ability to travel with short notice



Meritorious

* Experience of system testing along with analytical skills

* Experience from designing/testing embedded system

* Fluent in Swedish

Personal qualifications

* Analytical

* Self-managed, while being a good team player

* Like working with fault tracing

* Structured, thorough and comfortable in summarizing and presenting the status of your tasks.
